Your Library Corner - December and JanuaryAs we combine two issues, I am reminded of this wonderful time of the year celebrating Chistmas and the New Year. The library will be decorated with colorful displays, so please stop by and select a reading of your choice, plus display changes as the events of the month unfold. New Arrivals"Legendary Homes of Lake Minnetonka, by Bette Hammel Fantastic Photography!"Churches of Minnesota", by Jon Hassler. Again, the photography is so colorful and justifies this treasury of Minnesota churches. "Challenge of Jesus — Rediscovering Who Jesus Was And Is", by N.T. Wright. Mr.Wright has written many books including New Testament commentaries. He compels us to rethink our standard images of Jesus so that we will never read the gospels in the same way again in this remarkable story. "Izzy & Lenore — Two Dogs, An Unexpected Journey, And Me", by Jon Katz. These dogs are trained as "hospice volunteers" visiting homes and nursing facilities in upstate New York. This story will make you smile, weep and perhaps look at this creature of God with more appreciation and love. We really appreciated them. Also, there is still time this year to make a monetary donation to the library. Remember, it is tax deductible.
