COMMUNITY MEAL
Wednesday nights September to May, from 5-6:30 PM, Westwood hosts a meal before Wednesday evening programs (like Worship, Confirmation and choir rehearsal) both for participants and for people within our wider community. A free-will offering and many volunteers help to keep the whole thing going.

What's on the menu?
Wednesday, April 24 - Chicken Chow Mein, steamed rice, crispy noodles, BreadSmith bread/butter, Oriental Coleslaw, baby carrots, fruit

May 1 - French Toast, sausage links, fruit salad and V8
​
May 8 - Goulash, kernel corn, baby carrots, pickle, BreadSmith bread/butter, fruit

May 15 - Meatball Sub, pasta sald, veggies/dip, fruit
​
FINAL MEAL (until fall):
May 22 - Grilled brat or hotdog, bun, chips, baked beans, baby carrots, watermelon, ice cream
We'd love your help.
On Wednesday evenings, Westwood has a wonderful group of volunteers that make dinner for the communities of Westwood and St. Louis Park. We are always looking for more help, and people of all ages are welcome to volunteer!

Some specific jobs that need extra hands:​

Could you help wash dishes on Wednesday evenings?

Could you pick up bread from Breadsmith on Tuesday evening?

Could you pick up dirty laundry on Wednesday night and wash it for us?

Could you help with baking? (Days and times vary.)

Could you help with food prep on Wednesdays at 3 PM?
